Enquiring minds would like confirmation

In This much I know: Famous people share their life lessons in today's Observer Magazine, David Bailey avers:
My greatest fear is that my dick will drop off. It's every man's worst nightmare if they're honest.

(Makes one wonder if the 60s jingle 'David Bailey/Makes love daily' was to ascertain that it was still attached...)

I'm intrigued that his fear is that it will drop off (maybe his mother discouraged infantile explorations with that warning?) when there is an attested syndrome of fear that the genitalia will retract and disappear into the body, Koro. I came across this in a volume of culture-specific syndromes but in fact from that article it looks more widespread.

And in other news, someone has identified the wrong Pankhurst - it wasn't Mrs (Emmeline) Pankhurst who was protesting against World War I, it was daughter Sylvia. Mrs P and Christabel were all for the war effort. As the cast list of the movie of the play in question names her correctly (played by Vanessa Redgrave) we think this is probably the critic in confusion.
