Is there no respite at 90?
I had thought that at my years I was probably reasonably safe from obsessed stalkers, but am given pause by this:
Restraining order for pensioner who tried to woo the Dowager Duchess of Devonshire
(saw this in today's Guardian print edition but can't find it online.)
She's 90. He's a young sprig of 75.
I will concede that maybe the being a Duchess and the surviving Mitford sister plays into the scenario somewhere, but even so.
