More fun with website searches
Okay, I get some weird and sometimes creepy search strings ending up on my pages.
But: "victorian" sex [sic]?
I sort of envisage a guy in a phone booth looking at the tart cards and ringing a number and breathing heavily and saying 'Do you do - "Victorian"?'
(That's the one in which she closes her eyes, opens her legs, lies absolutely still, and may be presumed to be thinking of England* throughout, I suppose.)
And, on a koinkidentle topic, had, ten minutes before closing time this pm, an email from an intending reader proposing to come in tomorrow to research a topic I strongly suspect they have been set upon pursuing by the Victorian vibrator canard. (It was a rather weird enquiry since nothing in the message was actually posed as a question, so I had no idea whether they wanted to be assured that they could use the library, what they needed to be able to join, whether they were looking for sources guidance, or, really, what.)
*Which we all know to be a post-1900 construct about Teh Viktorianz, right?
