Am still feeling my way about it at the moment.
I believe that it is already (?or not yet) possible to import one's lj, but I haven't succeeded in sussing this out just yet.
(This may be a by-product of being post-dental-work and feeling tired and blah - last Friday I was exhausted and as a result was perhaps unduly befuzzled by the whole changing-my-password on Academic Institution site thing, which I managed when in a somewhat fresher state without undue hassle. May be that.
But no immediate plans to abandon LJ.
