happy
yesterday i skipped my first class. i was heading out the door when karen woke up and started talking to me. i feel so rude when i'm late to class so i decided to not go. then i ditched work because i was really tired from a long week of horrible sleep. anyway, as i was sending my work an email informing them of my absence, i heard a knock. i opened the door to see javi! he and brent needed me to jump start brent's car that was parked near my house. they were going out to breakfast with joe and invited karen and i. i decided to go because i never get to do fun and unplanned things with my friends and i miss them. it was fun, i never get to hang out with my guy friends being the only girl. i love seeing boys interact with each other, it fascinates me so much. anyway, not the point. so then i come home before class and i get a text from jake! he was coming to visit for the night! that made me so happy and excited and sitting through two classes was very very difficult after that. then i came home and cleaned my whole house which made me feel very productive and not guilty for skipping work. the other day my work friend recommended a taco shop so when it was dinner time k and i decided to give it a whirl. GOOD CALL. $1.35 tacos that were so legit and delicious. yum yum. then i had a wonderful night with all my friends and it felt amazing. this morning steph made waffles and everyone congregated at her house to eat. then we all laid around and watched gone with the wind and that was amazing. then we all went out to lunch at sizzler and that too was amazing. sometimes you just have to blow off your responsibilities and be with the people that make you happy. i feel so much better, the stress of school has really been getting me down a lot lately. anyway, back to work. i feel good.
