it's hard to know just how to handle a holiday that reminds you so much of all those who you have lost, when those that you have lost still mean so much to you, and still effect you so deeply. because sometimes the realities of those losses just hit too hard, and are simply too much to try and deal with.... and sometimes, even though i know there must be so many reasons to be awake, it just feels so much easier to be asleep.
and i had almost forgotten just how painful this is.
