Yay!
My favorite co-worker has been MIA for the past two weeks. She showed up this morning, and we made plans for this afternoon - saw Indy (or I saw it, and she took me to see it again, but I paid for her ticket cause she bought me lunch last time.) I also had time to run home - barely, but time - and get changed, pick up her gift (Bee stickers for wall/window) and get monies for movie. So all in all, day started out very good and continued that way.
Also, so very weird. Abbs comes just after I start remembering she left. I picked up the Bee stickers because they were on sale, on a whim. I was like, WTF, I can't use them cause mine are already on my window, but eh, for two bucks. So I'm thinking if Sue ever comes around, I can give them to her. Two days ago. And then out of the blue, she comes this morning. Wow. Instincts are working well for me lately.
So, anyway, Indy - all I have to say is that Sue and I giggled over Shia looking so very hot. In the leather, at least. The jeans did nothing for him in my opinion, but then again, between jeans and not jeans...
Eh, with Shia, I'll take not jeans, thank you very much. Still, I'll take over hot-jeans over his Indy-jeans. I really did think they did nothing for him. Sue asked me what I thought after the movie, and I gave her my off the hip opinion - which was actually rather long winded for what it was - and then my film-study opinion where I giggled over my nitpicking lines which were very very interesting.
Anyway, haven't decided if I loved it terribly or am vaguely disappointed. Not surprised, though. It takes me at least a couple days to really sink my teeth into a movie. Will give details over what I thought behind an LJ cut if anyone wants me to later.
Also, would anyone be interested in co-writing an Indy story, or at least proofreading for characters, or doing a roleplay? I would be interested in tackling Mutt (hee - Mutt) Shia's character, so Indy would be open.
