Monday
So today was another Monday. If I am not careful I am going to turn into Garfield. So things have been going well. I am serving out my last week at the Green Connection. My new job starts Monday with Arctic Office Products. It has been an interesting experience. Things were winding down at the Green Connection and I was worried about becoming unemployed soon so I started looking for a new job and Arctic offered me the job 2 weeks ago. (Same day Eric proposed.) SO the next day I went in and gave my two week notice to the Green Connection. One week later, Gary (owner of Green Connection) offers me more money to stay around and a full time/year round position. Incredibly tempting considering I love the people there, but the position is one I could care less about. In the long run I have more potential with Arctic so that is who I am going with. Hopefully it is not the worst mistake I have ever made!
So I said Eric proposed. In a fortune cookie of all things! The ring is absolutely gorgeous. I have never owned something worth this much before. (According to Eric, Visa is actually the proud owner.) Eric and I were just planning on eloping but his mom said no way so now we are stuck with the task of planning a wedding. Eric wants a Hawaiian style and I think Kristi had the idea first. We are considering Memorial Day weekend because that is the weekend we met. Other than that we have nothing.
We had some people over to watch the Bronco Charger game yesterday. Good times. Damn Broncos. Other than that not too much else is new on this side of the fence. O yeah it is freaking freezing outside!
