Chapter One.
Han Geng took her luggage and started walking through the airport. She looked at what was written on the panels which were all in Korean. She cursed and wondered why the hell she hadn't learned how to read it better. It would've been a whole lot easier to find the exit. And plus, her feet hurt like hell.
I'm not wearing high heels ever again, she thought. And the next time I see auntie I'll make it clear to her that I hate them!
She kept walking, unsteadily. High heels weren't really her thing. She always wore flats, since they were much better than trying to keep your balance on those sticks!
The exit showed up in front of her. She started walking faster and with a bit more confidence. Just look like a woman. She felt good, like one of those business women; maybe high heels were what really made a woman, well, a woman. A smile even showed up on her face and just as her opinion on high heels started to change, she tripped. She cursed, took a look at her shoe and saw that one of the heels was broken. I really don't like high heels. How could I ever think of changing my opinion on them!?
Han Geng put her suitcase on the ground and opened it. She was going to get some flats and throw those stupid high heels away. People stopped and stared at her. They were probably wondering 'why is this girl looking for shoes in the middle of the airport?'. You should try walking in high heels, Han Geng thought as she looked at some of the men around her.
Found ya!
Han Geng took our her favorite dark blue flats. She tossed the high heels in her suitcase and closed it shut.
She got up, grabbed her luggage and, turning around, decided to get out of the airport, get a taxi and finally go to her new school.
“HOT! HOT! HOOOOOT! UGH!”
Han Geng froze right on the spot. She'd just bumped into someone and spilled her coffee on the other girl. Great, she just had to do that. Could her day get any worse?
“YOU! Y-YOU BITCH! HOW DARE YOU RUIN MY FAVORITE SHIRT!” the girl she'd just bumped into yelled, pointing at her.
Okay, her day could get worse. Why did she have to bump into a bitchy person? How was she supposed to communicate now, with her lack of Korean and everything? She could understand it, but speaking it wasn't really her thing.
“Uh... Um...” she hesitated. Okay, calm down, Hannie. You've heard this word in all the Korean dramas you've watched. Oh! I know! “I'm sorry?” she attempted warily in what she hoped was coherent Korean.
“You better be!”
Hannie looked at her in fear. What was she going to do now? What if the girl called the police or something? Was she even allowed to do that? How were the laws in Korea? She had no idea.
“Um... Can I with something help?”, she asked, aware of how bad her Korean was.
The girl stared at her in surprise. Her eyes looked at her from head to toes. She kept staring at her for a while, making Hannie nervous. She was expecting her to start yelling again any second, but instead, the girl just smirked. Which was probably worse than her yelling.
“You're paying for it.”
Hannie's eyes widened. What was she going to do now? She didn't have any Korean money with her, she was supposed to go to the bank now and change.
“Wait,” she said and took out her wallet. She didn't have that much, but it probably was enough. Hopefully. She took out the money and handed it to the girl, who stared at them in surprise.
“Oh. These are Chinese!” she checked out every little corner of them; she seemed to be really fascinated. Hannie sighed in relief. She was free to go now.
She grabbed her luggage again and started walking towards the exit, feeling way more comfortable than before.
“You! Freeze!” the same, now familiar, voice yelled after her.
She turned around again and rolled her eyes while she waited for the red-headed girl that was running after her. Didn't I pay for her shirt already?
“Give me a shirt!” the girl yelled at her.
Han Geng's jaw dropped. She had paid for it already. Now the bitch wanted one of her shirts too!?
“You wouldn't expect me to walk around the city with this shirt, right?”
Um, let me think. Yes!
But she shut up, knelt on the ground, opened her suitcase and started looking for a shirt. She'd just give her one of those shirts signed by her aunt. She had given them to her saying that that way her fame would spread more around Korea. Yeah, right. Like a dozen of signed shirts would make her more famous than she was already.
When she finally found one, Hannie threw it to the girl's face.
“You! How dare you throw this to - “ the girl shut when she took a better look at the shirt “Oh. My. God. This is a signed shirt by Rebeka Wang! How did you get this?” she asked in an excited tone, while she put the shirt on.
“Aunt,” Hannie answered, surprised, while pointing at herself.
“She's your aunt!?” the girl yelled. “Oh, well, here, get up,” she gave Hannie her hand and helped her get up, “I'll close this for you.” She bent down and shut Hannie's suitcase.
“I'm Heechul, by the way,” she introduced herself and offered a hand.
“Han Geng...” Hannie answered, while she shyly shook hands with this eccentric girl who called herself Heechul.
She was so confused. Why did the bitchy girl suddenly become nice? Hannie analyzed everything. It had happened when she saw the shirt so... She was a fan. Oh my God, she’s a fan. Just when she was expecting not to meet any of her aunt's fans, she met one. How much worse could her day be?
“So, why are you here?” Heechul asked.
“School.”
“Oh. Which one?”
Oh, crap. She'd forgotten the name of her school. It was that big, all-girls, boarding school. It was really famous or something like that. Hannie started biting on her lower lip in anxiety. Ugh. What was it?
“Famous. Girls. School,” she finally managed to answer, hoping that Heechul would know what she was talking about.
“I think that's my school,” she answered, her face shining with happiness. It's the only famous all-girls school around here.”
Hannie opened her mouth to say something, but Heechul cut her off.
“Oh my God this is so awesome! You have to come with me. I'll take you there. I was on my way anyway.”
“Not-”
“Oh, just shut up and come with me, will you?”
Han Geng finally nodded and started walking along with Heechul, who, strangely, had decided to carry her luggage for her and ended up dragging her by the hand.

Kyuhyun walked the halls hoping that maybe this year, she would get a better roommate. That Heechul from last year had been a pain in the ass. She was so self-conceited. Kyu regretted that she didn't get the chance to slap her at least once. But anyway, her roommate would be better this year, or at least, she hoped so.
“OH. NO. YOU DID NOT JUST CALL ME THAT, DID YOU? I'M ASKING TO SWITCH ROOMMATES, LIKE NOW, YOU-YOU BAD DANCER!”
Kyu snapped back to reality when she heard those screams. Oh, God, what room were they coming from. She started following them. I'm glad I didn't get roomed with any of those two. She kept walking. One of those people was cursing out loud. Kyuhyun covered her ears with her hands and looked at the room number. 8. Wait a second. Isn't this my room!? Oh, great. I've landed in hell again.
She sighed and opened the door. It should be written purgatory on the door instead of a room number.
“Ouch!” she was greeted with a pillow thrown in her face.
The girls shut up. Kyuhyun looked at them. He recognized one as Donghae and the other one as Eunhyuk. Oh, great. I'm roomed with the dance freaks. The girls were both the best dancers of the school, but they didn't agree with that completely. They said that only one of them could be the best - that was why they were always fighting and challenging each other to spontaneous dance battles any chance they had. But the thing was that they could never defeat each other. Nobody could choose just one, they were both too good.
Kyuhyun gave them one of her cold stares. She'd learned that people usually got scared of her because of that, and maybe now, what she needed was for them to be afraid and leave her alone, and hopefully, stop screeching at each other like wild animals.
She threw back the pillow she'd received to Donghae's chest, the girl catching it on the spot. Both Donghae and Eunhyuk started arranging their things; Kyuhyun could feel the awkwardness in the air. It must be awkward for them to be roomed with the so-called 'Ice Princess' - Kyu thought.
She started unpacking her luggage, when she heard Donghae say:
“I'm sorry for the pillow.”
Kyu turned to her, surprised. She'd never actually thought that one of them would say sorry or even talk to her. She could notice Donghae was nervous, though, since she kept bitting her nails.
Just try to be nice. It won't kill anyone. - Kyu told herself.
“That's okay.” - she nodded and even added a shy smile.
That only made Donghae's eyes widen in fear. Great. I guess Ice Princesses can never be nice.

Kyuhyun walked through the garden, heading for the martial arts room. She'd missed it. When she finally got there, she stepped inside. No one was there. Somehow she'd expected to see her there, training, looking like a normal girl, not as everyone described her to be.
She sat on the wooden floor, remembering the first time she'd seen her. It had been a warm spring day. She was taking a walk through the garden and she heard some noises coming from the martial arts room, so she decided to take a look. That was when she fell for her, the way she moved was just so mesmerizing. She didn't look like the typical girl; she looked different, like martial arts turned her into a new person. A person that no one knew about.
~*~
She turned around the corner and saw her walking a few feet away. Kyu could recognize her pink suitcase anywhere, although just by looking at her outfit you could tell it was her. No one else at their school wore mini-skirts as short as hers.
Kyuhyun sighed and kept walking. She watched her long, blond hair swaying over her shoulders as she walked. She couldn't take her eyes off of her. The other girl fascinated her. Everything about her seemed so intriguing; Kyu couldn't care less about what everyone else said about her. She knew that all the rumors weren't true. They just couldn't be because Sungmin would never do such things.
When Kyu reached her door, she stopped, but didn't enter. She wanted to watch Sungmin for as long as she could. It was natural since she hadn't seen her since the last school year ended.
The girl stopped a few doors away and she looked for a key in her pockets. Kyu counted the doors that separated them. There were two that meant three walls. Now she could sit in her bed every night and think that only 3 walls separated them. It wasn't that much. Finally, Sungmin entered her room, slamming the door behind her.
~*~
Sungmin left her bags on the bed and her suitcase next to it. She took a glance around the room, smiling. She'd gotten the room she'd always wanted. The one with a beautiful view and with that tree she could use to escape at night, right in front of her window. Plus the room was painted pink (each room had a different color). Everything was perfect. All she needed now was an awesome roommate, preferably one of her friends, and she could have the time of her life.
Sungmin turned around at the sound of the doorknob turn, ready to welcome her new roommate. Her smile got even bigger as the door started to open. She inhaled, ready to yell 'welcome', but as soon as she saw her roommate she shut her mouth.
“Oh, fuck! Why did I have to bring so many things with me?” Heechul asked herself out loud.
She was trying to bring her luggage in, but it was too big and way too heavy.
“Would you give me a hand for fuck's sake?” she asked without even turning her head to look at her new roommate.
Sungmin didn't move an inch. She wasn't going to help Kim Heechul. Not a chance in hell. She hated that girl. With a passion. Well isn’t this going to just swell?
“Would you just help me?” Heechul asked again and turned around, freezing at Sungmin's view. “Oh, fuck. I didn't want to be your roommate.”
“It looks like we agree on something.”
“Yeah, great,” Heechul turned and grabbed her luggage “Get the fuck out of my face.”
“Don't you dare talk to me like that!” Sungmin yelled. She couldn't believe Heechul had gotten even more stuck-up over the summer, she didn’t know that was even possible.
“Whatever.” Heechul rolled her eyes “Step aside. I need to take this to my bed. And talking about beds,” she turned around again “Why did you get the better one?”
“They're both the same!”
“No they're not! Yours is closer to the window!”
“Oh, for God's sake since when does that matter to you? You're making a big fuss because you've always wanted what was mine!” Sungmin yelled.
“What? Oh my God, you think you're the queen of the world or something.” Heechul rolled her eyes “Since when did I ever want something that was yours?”
“Since I stole that stupid girlfriend of yours you've wanted everything that was mine and be like me!”
"Oh my God, do you really think I want to be such a slut like you?”
“Then what are you now? A nun? If so, you should go to Choi Siwon and she could be like your nun-sister.”
“Oh, please. Do not get Siwon into this.”
“Why? Did you have something with her last year?”
“No!” Heechul yelled “That bitch is way too religious to -”
“Would you two just shut up for once!” a voice yelled at them from the hallway.
“It's that bitch, Kangin,” Heechul mumbled, recognizing the voice.
She went out and looked around her. She could see Kangin a few doors away.
“I really do not care whether you're a bitch, a nun, or a hooker! You’re all sluts anyways so just shut the fuck up!” the girl yelled at Heechul again.
“Oh, fuck you.” Heechul said in an annoyed tone. She'd had enough with Sungmin, she wasn't going to let Kangin get on her nerves too.
She turned around, tapping her foot in annoyance. When was she going to find someone at this school who wasn't annoying? She couldn't find an actual answer to that question, but... There was still the Chinese new girl, Han Geng. She could convert her into someone she actually liked and, she was cute in her own little way - quiet, but intriguing.
Heechul's face was lightened up by a smile. She decided to go to Han Geng's room and become better friends with her.
She stopped in front of her own room and looked at her luggage. Too heavy - she thought. Then, she saw Sungmin was arranging her clothes in her closet. Maybe...
“Hey, could you take this in for me, I just need to do something! Bye!” - she started running down the hall.
“You bitch! Come back here and take your shit in!” - she heard Sungmin yell, but she ignored her. She was almost completely sure that Sungmin wouldn't leave her luggage at the door, blocking the entrance.
~*~
Kibum entered her room and was greeted by the back of a person, sitting on her knees and... Praying at a photograph? Why do I always get roomed with the weird ones? - Kibum asked herself. Last year she'd gotten roomed with the emo kid and now it was the religious one? Oh, for fuck’s sake! When was she ever going to get roomed with her best friend, Kyuhyun, so she could actually spend a normal life?
The girl in front of her turned around and smiled. It was Siwon. Kibum sighed and left her bags on the bed. She was about to sit down when she heard Siwon say:
“Um. I'm sorry, but I need to be alone during my praying, so could you please... like leave?”
Great. Now she had to respect her praying schedule too.
“Fine. I'm sorry to have bothered you.”
Siwon nodded and Kibum left the room. Where was she going to go now? It was getting dark, so she couldn't go outside because she was afraid. What was she supposed to do? Wander the halls while Siwon finished her praying?
Kibum started thinking about the dance show she'd seen that summer. How did those guys do the moonwalk thing? She decided to try doing it, but she failed. Her feet just couldn't move that way, they seemed to magically float backwards and it struck her speechless. Placing her feet in the right position, she tried again. No luck. The technique was unknown to her. She sighed and decided to visit her best friend, Kyuhyun, since she had no idea how much time Siwon needed for her praying.
The moment she arrived in front of Kyuhyun's door, Kibum noticed that there was no sound coming from the inside. It was awkwardly quiet. Her roommates are probably afraid of her - she thought and knocked. Rushed footsteps sounds came from the inside and the door opened, revealing the last person Kibum had expected to see there, Donghae. The marvelous dancer, the one she had admired since she had seen her dance, unfortunately it was also the one who called her a geek. She hated it when people called her that; it was a personal pet peeve, really.
Donghae looked at her surprised, probably wondering what she was doing there. Kibum's mind was blank, having no idea what to say.
“I-is Kyuhyun here?” she mumbled.
“Oh. Yes!” Donghae answered. “I forgot you two were friends.” she laughed “I'm actually surprised she has friends.” she said in a whisper.
Suddenly, Kyuhyun appeared behind Donghae. The girl shrieked in fear and went back inside.
“Finally, someone who thinks I'm normal,” Kyuhyun said, relieved.
They went out for a walk. It had gotten dark already. They walked through the school court chatting happily. They hadn't met at all during summer since Kyu had spent her break in Japan. Kibum had missed talking to her.
“So, who did you get roomed with?” Kyu asked.
“Siwon, the nun.”
“Ouch. I don't even know which one's worse. The dance freaks or the nun.”
“We could exchange rooms.”
“Not unless you want to hear some people arguing over dance moves. Or... Wait. Does this have to do with Donghae?”
Kibum turned her head around.
“No...”
Kyuhyun smirked. She was almost sure it had something to do with the other girl.
“Look at me. I know you admire her and stuff, but she isn't really your type.”
“So, now you know what type of girls I like? And just for your information, I do not have a crush on Lee Donghae. I just think she's a good dancer.”
“Yeah, right.”
Kyuhyun smirked again and put her hand over Kibum's shoulders.
“How about Sungmin?” Kibum asked shyly, knowing that Kyu didn't really like talking about her.
The other girl sighed.
“Same as usual.”
“You should get over her.”
“You've no idea how I wish I could.”
They both stared at the sky. It was a full moon. That gave Kyuhyun an idea.
“Why don't we make a promise? A promise that if I don't confess and you don't learn how to dance until the second-next full moon, we'll give up on those things.”
Kibum stared at Kyu in surprise. Was she serious? Kibum was positive that Kyu was aware that none of those things were going to happen.
“You really want to give up on her, don't you?”
“You have no idea.” Kyuhyun whispered “So, what's it gonna be?” she asked now in an excited tone.
“You know I can't learn how to dance in two months.” Kibum said, pouting.
“You can. Just try finding a teacher.”
Kibum stared at the other girl, who had a smile bigger than any smile she'd ever had before. Finally, Kibum nodded and so they agreed to the promise, although she was sure she couldn't keep it.
They locked pinkies with excited smiles and their eyes shining and they both thought, well, maybe now’s the perfect time for some changes around here.
A/N:
tokyolights gave me the idea of writing a Super Junior girls fic. And then Lynna helped me with the plot and here it is. Excuse my lack of sense of humor. I totally suck D;
