its just so easy.. but anways..
hiii from paris still! i swear i love it here. its been the best place so far, its so beautiful and fun and everyone is so happy and uhh there is not enough time in the day for me to say how much i love it here.
today heather and i were going to go to versaille but we decided not to because we wanted to see more of the city. we went to 2 museums. the musee d'orsay which is in what used to be paris's train station and its a beautiful site. there were all sorts of famous paintings and artists. degas, renoir, cezzane, but the most impressive was the van goughs. i have never really been that big of a fan of van gough but seeing his work in person definately changed my mind. i got chills when i was looking at them. the colors are so bright and beautiful, and you can really see him in the paintings. i cant describe really the feeling that i got when i saw them, but yea - it was great. luckilly the museam allowed non flash photography so i took many pictures.
then we went to the centre pompido, which is paris's modern art museum. it is probably my favorite museum in the world, because the building is amazing in itself. (Google it to find out). we saw a bunch of really cool exhibits and hung out outside of the museum where they have street performers and all sorts of crazyness going on.
then we walked back to the hostel - (weve done so much walking here) and we rested and ate dinner and now im here, its 10pm and the streets are just now starting to get crowded, and the resteraunts only start getting crowded at around 930.
we are going to go to the most amazing gelato place after this, where they make your icecream cone look like a flower. its yum.. tomorrow afternoon we are taking the train to amsterdam! Im so excited :D
anyways, thats a long entry. i will write more from amsterdam if i can and im sure ill be able to!
