Just from looking at behind-the-scenes stuff on the Lord of the Rings sets, it's no wonder something like this happened on The Hobbit.

They work with all manor of materials, and I would imagine a lot of it is flammable or explosive in nature. I'm glad it wasn't a lot worse.

It wasn't the first time and I'm sure it won't be the last - here's hoping they'll always get away this easily!

Glad to hear the accident was relatively minor and no one was seriously hurt. Thankfully it hasn't affected filming either.

Love that Hobbit hole shed, I want one!
