Little Caesar are back together again!!!! *uses one of her few music icons since she doesn't have one for the band itself* They've been touring the States last year, and there's the possibility of them coming to Europe on a tour in the foreseeable future. Please please PLEASE guys, do come to Switzerland, at a place and time when I can come see you!!! Oh and let me know early enough so I can actually make plans!
I LOVE those guys - did from the first time I saw their video for "Chain of Fools" (yes, the Aretha Franklin song) on Super Channel in 1990. It's their style and singer Ron Young's unique voice. (Yeah, plus his looks certainly don't hurt, even though by now he has cut off his gorgeous long locks. Also, his big tattoo - covering his whole back, and both arms all around - is utterly gorgeous and amazing.)
Thanks to this interview (part 1) with Ron (part 2), I finally know what happened to the band and why they just disappearead. FU very much, David Geffen!
But now they're back - squeeee!!! I'm very glad that watching Terminator 2 (where Ron has a bit part as the biker who hits his billard/pool queue across Arnold Schwarzenegger's back) prompted me to go look for them online! Must go see if I still have some of the magazine articles from back then...
