Yay
Booked my ticket for the FotR-with-live-soundtrack performance on 23rd February! Both this performance and the one on the following day are almost totally sold out, and they added another one on 29th March but I don't know if Howard Shore will be present there too - probably not, I'd guess. Anyway, there were only tickets for the two best category seats left for the above date (and only few more for the Sunday), and since the difference was only CHF30 I went for one of the few best seats left, at CHF150. After all I'll only have to pay CHF85 for the hotel - a different one than when I went to the LotR Symphony at the same venue, but in the same area which means only some minutes' walk to and from the concert (and the train station).
Eeeeeeh, I'm really looking forward to this!!! Will have to take something that Howard Shore can sign, just in case. :)
Kingdom of Heaven is on TV, and thankfully in original language. Has anyone seen the Director's Cut DVD? I quite liked the cinema version and am curious to hear how the two cuts differ. The Amazon reviewer certainly seems to think the DC is a vast improvement over the cinematic version.
And speaking of concerts, Kill Hannah will be in Basel on 12th April supporting Aiden on their European tour - this will be the only Swiss concert... to go or not to go?
