You know, doing my List of Lust also made me think of men which totally turn me off... or creep me out. Usually I can't even say why, but some of these men that come to mind spontaneously are ( Read more... )

That's funny! I mean, how tastes can differ and stuff. I totally agree on Ray Liotta, and I'm not too fond of Justin Timberlake either, I guess. But I thought Cillian Murphy was really cute '28 Days Later,' and I have the MAJOR hots for Hayden Christensen. And Michael Caine... I just adore that man. I'm not really in lust with him now, but I sure was about 16 years ago. :)

I'm still working on my Lust List. It's a lot of work to find the right pictures and get them all the right size, etc.

Well Cillian... he's probably redeemable; I haven't really seen him in anything, just pictures, and the trailer for Red Eye.

Yes, it's a lot of work, especially the finding pictures part took me ages! Looking forward to seeing your list when it's done!

Sometimes you really don't like a guy and then you see him in something and go: 'Hey! He's not as bad as I thought.' It's happened to me lots of times, with guys like Nicolas Cage, Willem Dafoe, Sean Penn, Steve Buscemi and Dominic Monaghan, to name but a few. :)

With the exception of Cillian, I've seen all these guys in several films (OK, Hayden only in Star Wars II and III - and obviously I haven't seen Justin *shudder* in any films), and still... I can even admit that Michael Caine is a good actor, but there's still something about him that bothers me. :)

Yeah, I wasn't trying to convince you to like them, or anything. :) Maybe because you said that Cillian might be redeemable, it reminded me of some examples where I really didn't like an actor and then changed my mind, after seeing them them in a particular performance. Have you seen '28 Days Later'? It's a really good movie, too. Hayden is very good in 'Life as a House,' which is also a very good movie. :D

As for Michael Caine, I can't really explain why, but I just really like him. Also as a person. He's just a nice guy, and a fine actor.

LOL don't worry, didn't think you were! :)

Haven't seen 28 Days Later or Life as a House. Since not watching TV so often anymore, the number of films I've seen has declined drastically!

It's really funny how different people react to different actors, isn't it? :)
