Hell, yeah!
So I got a pleasant surprise yesterday from a colleague. Turns out, a three-part story we did last year was one of the finalists for explanatory writing in a journ award here. Since three of us wrote the story, we would have to share the nomination, with P. taking a bit more credit because he wrote two parts, while me and I. wrote the last part. (But it was a lot of grunt work, though!). To be honest about it, I don’t think we stand a chance as there were stories in the competition I wish I could have written. But as they say in the Oscars red carpet, I’m just happy to get nominated. (Glen was laughing about that comment.Heh.) Now, the important question: what to wear for the ceremony?
