While Ohkura-kun gets settled at home and at some point finds his stomach after the "harrowing" journey he and Taguchi-kun took back to the warmer parts of Sinnoh (when am I allowed to come visit, by the way?), I've been spending lazy days at the Breeding Center. Sometimes I bring my DS to play in the yard while Jun-kun takes care of the Pokemon, and sometimes we splash around at the edge of the pond with everyone. It's all very domestic, somehow. Playing with our kids and all.
Though there's been an interesting new development! A couple of days ago, some girl dropped off her Altaria, and Pidgeot seems to have taken an interest in her. I personally don't see the appeal of a giant cotton ball rolling around the Center, but Pidgeot's been a lot more... I don't know, excited? animated? than he usually is. Not that he's not lively or friendly or anything -- he still takes Bidoof out on flights every once in a while. It's just that he's been the stern and caring older brother for the rest of them, but since the Altaria came in, he's been acting young again, almost. After all of that quick evolution he went through to get to where he is, it's kind of nice to see.
