Well, I'm just not used to having them out of my sight when I don't know what they're up to. You mentioned it yourself in your entry -- there are a bunch of scummy people out there who'll try to take advantage of Pokemon by setting up traps or lying. It'd just make me feel better knowing that they're someplace safe.
Yeah, I think I'd be too nervous to let them work somewhere other than where I was. Mine help out at the Florist's with me, so maybe I'm keeping them busy enough, but it sounds kind of... I don't know, dangerous. But maybe it's like letting your kid go off to elementary school for the first time or something.
You can't really be sure what's legitimate around here unless you're actually there to experience it. I definitely hear you on the elementary school thing, though. They grow up so fast, don't they?
Haha, they really do. I get nervous just going with Mo to these shoots, and I'm there to supervise the whole thing. But she loves it, so maybe it is nice to give them something they can do for themselves.
Part of me thinks that it's also their way of trying to "give back". Like filial piety. They want to show their appreciation somehow, since we've been taking care of them.
