Long time watcher, lover of bedroom designs :-))
Once I get things figured out with my own room I'll post actual pics but for now I have a problem, and for this I present a diagram:
As you can see, here is my room. The chair is in front of the left closet because the closet is storage. I'd prefer to move the chair away from the closet so I can have access. Right now it's a little cluttered.
There's a small white bookshelf on top of my black dresser. I want to get a bigger black bookshelf or two small ones and stack them side by side on top of the dresser to put my DVD collection in them. Good idea? Bad idea?
The black shelf by the right closet holds my various knicknacks.
In the middle of the two closets is a built in pink table where I put my TV. Below that I have a small entertainment center that holds my DVD player/VCR/Satellite Box/Playstation.
What I'm asking is...what can I do to give myself a little more space? Should I take the chair out? I have the chair because I like to sit in it when I'm on my laptop and when I eat.
I was thinking about maybe taking out the long dresser but...I need it to store my clothing and I don't have the money to buy a new one.
There's a thinner one in storage but it's not black and doesn't go with the color scheme of the room. It's more of a light tan/goldish oak kinda thing that doesn't have the straight lines of the old furniture. It's more...French antique and curvy.
