Been watching this comm. for a little while and since I recently took some pics. of my bedroom, thought I'd share them here with you all. :)
-I'm 28yrs. old, and I'm currently staying at my mom's temporarily 'till I can get my own apt. so this bedroom is just for a little while and the furniture in it (bed, side-table, and dresser) aren't mine, unfortunately.
The door:
This is right behind the door into the room -at the foot of the bed.. some jackets, a robe, and my bag on the back of the door.
The near-wall: what you see as you open the door...this is Gizmo's "area" -her feeding bowl/water, litter box, and carpeted perch(which she smartly uses to jump up and down from the tall bed).
That's my Weight Watchers scale peeking out from under the foot of the bed, there.

The near-left side of my room...the bookcase (you can't see it with the flash and all, but there are small black Halloween/Fairy lights entertwined over and throughout the shelves). The purple cushion is for Giz...tho', she doesn't seem to realize that, yet.
Mirrored closet-doors to the left of the bookcase..
The far left side of my room...the massive bed I'm using..(not mine), some stuffed animals, and my kitty, Gizmo (she has two ear-infections, hence the cone -that she hates).

Having nowhere else to adequately store my floral garlands (which I made) right now, this one is hanging upon the bed canopy's pinnacle.
The tiny run-way strip between the bed and dresser...yes, there is stuff under both the bed and dresser -but it's organized and good storage for now.
-a tub of nail polish stuff, and then my clay sculpting supplies and tools. Some little hand-weights at the end there and a bottle of Febreeze.
My cd collection sandwiched between the dresser and door.
The far right-side of my room..the massive chest of drawers my folks brought back to the states from when we lived in Scotland with the Navy.
-My various electronics, notebooks, art stuff, etc.

My awesome walking-staff which Dallas (old boyfriend of mine) bought for me from Cryingheart at the Drachenburg Renaissance Festival we worked for back in 2000. Along side of it is my wood bo-staff which I fought with in the Drachenburg Ren. Fest. Tourney of 2001. It has various dings and dents in it from "battle", Lol!
My 'really' awesome "AVATAR" movie calendar. When I'm done with it, this is going to be cannibalized for the artwork and various of the 'prints' will be framed.:D
My makeup stuff -inside the closet on a media-case.
More makeup stuff with a bucket of nail stuff...closet.
So yeah...there ya go, in a nutshell.:)
