I am 22, almost 23, and married living in the City of Chicago. I JUST graduated with my B.A. in Art History (deans list baby). My husband and I recently moved into a very small garden apartment (downsize due to a job loss). I have gotten the bedroom some-what in order (my husband's corner is still a disaster).
The bed with a rather large window (covered in plastic) over it. Our bed faces south.
Here is the full bed - It's a queen Malm in medium brown from Ikea.
I painted a copy of Starry Night 4 years ago when I was still in HS. It won some prize and was framed for me. I have had offers to sell, but never will.
Close up detail of the duvet cover - Latana from Bed, Bath & Beyond
On the same wall with the starry night painting is a door to the building's laundry room - and my shoe storage.
The wall that is perpendicular has our ironing board...
Our laundry items (and some of my sweaters that I couldn't fit into the closet...after donating a lot)
That is a genuine Pink cloth basket from VS (I worked their and they were going to throw it out). It now holds my dry cleaning.
Next to the ironing board is my dresser and shelving.

Some scrapbook materials
My little penguin!
Some images I have collected from my church (bottom right) and images I took of the Rookery building (top left), as well as my graduation information (middle)
For Christmas my parent's got me some Life magazines from when MLK was killed...AWESOME
A paper lantern that has yet to find a home, one of my 'reusable' bags
More scrapbook storage and a Mask from the dominican republic we picked up on our honeymoon.
The bi-fold doors is for our tiny closet.
And this is my husband's scary corner...
A Picasso I painted back in HS
Our lighting
There's so much more I want to do to spruce the place up (can't paint). But, we might be leaving Chicago and going to Cleveland...not sure yet.
