This is one of the mods from ouranhostawards speaking 8D;; It's been about 1 half year since I last posted, so you might have probably forgotten about who and what this community is. I pretty much fell off the face of LJ, only to fall back in now.
First of all, I have to say a very huge sorry to fahrenheit1993 *orz* Even though you won the header contest, I didn't manage to find a suitable layout and in the end procrastinated on finding a new layout until now ^^;; And also, I'm really sorry that I delayed your banners for so long. If everyone has forgotten about it... well, now you know ;__;

porvora, you did not mention wanting banners in this post, so I presumed that you don't need them ^^
About the fate of this community: Closed indefinitely. Thank you to all who had supported and participated in the past or present!
I'm making this decision on my own, since the other mods didn't continue on with this community for such a long time it seems pretty safe to assume that we all don't really have the time to keep up. For me, it feels like an eternity since I had last done anything icontest related, I'm pretty rusty and frankly isn't sure whether I can continue this for long with schoolwork and yadda piling up.
In the past (feels so long ago...), it was suggested that ouranhostawards be changed into biweekly contest but it still didn't garner too much entries. Adding up all the reasons, it seems like a good idea to let this community rest.
To cut the already long story shorter, unless there's someone out there willing to continue and there's enough participants, this community will once again go into hibernation. But feel free to call me when there's a surge in Ouran icontests interest 8Db
