We have spent much longer in Sihanoukville than we had planned.. we will have been here ten nights after tonight!!! I can hardly believe it. I am figuring that the first four days don't count though since we were rained out ( Read more... )

that just sounds totally exhausting...and really f#%king annoying!
I guess it makes the 1 beggar a day asking for money here in Melbourne seem really insignificant...lol!

It was exhausting!! Kind of ruins the whole beach serenity thing. Not too annoying though, they are just trying to get by!!! Either my saying no is getting better or the beggers in Vietnam are not as pushy, I cant decide which!!!

watch out for the kids in saigon...i only gave money to the elderly!!!
if you go to saigon....catch the bus into 'china town' which is chor-lon (i dont know how to spell it in english)...the foods even cheaper there. try out the '7 beef' dish too!!! amazing!!!

We are doing ok so far, compared to Cambodia Saigon is a breeze! We've only been here one day though so we will see. We are planning to head out to Cholon the day after tomorrow.. cant wait! Are you sure you weren't eating the '7 MEAT' dish???

Glad your birthday went well.. wish we could have been there!
