Reaktor

Well, I have started to actually build things in Reaktor, even though they are very messy and buggy. Many times the sample will just stop playing.

I have been trying to make a sampler that triggers different positions of the sample based on which button is being pressed, I am (sort of) close. I can trigger different parts of the sample, but I have to toggle which is triggered with a potentiometer on my MIDI controller and then hit the button that triggers the sample, and depending on which position of the switch, the position the sample starts from will

So yeah. That button on the top left triggers the sample. The switch toggles between which fader is used to mark the start to the sample when the button is pressed. it is really hard to accurately perform anything (I've got George Duke's "I Love You More" loaded up as I am trying to get a way to play "Digital Love") The first fader starts the beginning. And the other two are the second and third chord used in the song so you can manually trigger that chorus rhythm. But having to switch via potentiometer is very awkward, but the nature of the switch is not so that I can just say button1 trigger the first In of the switch. If I do it only does the last on the list when the button is not pressed, and the first when it is.

Hopefully I will be able to make it so pressing an assigned button alone will trigger specified positions of the sample. Make a sort of virtual Monome that can be controlled with any MIDI buttons.

I love it since it is problem solving, but for something I enjoy doing.
