BBC = Broadcast Before Catastrophy? I wish the US had psychic news stations...

"This case at the BBC is the most striking because it raisies the most serious an"d even profound questions about the relationship between the media, the intelligence agencies and the government here. Twenty three minutes in advance, they are reporting on an event that hasn't taken place, that no one has any reason to believe is going to take place ( Read more... )

Yeah, O'Reilly and all the talking heads are just IRL trolls, I put Lou Dobbs with them.

Whatever actually happened, people acting on behalf of our government are clearly not telling the truth, though this does not prove complicity.

Yeah, all of those debates rival forum flame wars (even some of the randi.org ones) in absurdity.

I agree. I would like to not believe that they would help plan that, but I am certain (and this should be obvious) they very well knew it was going to happen.

That's a great example of the "liberal media-" they act as if this sort of thing is impossible. They exaggerate and distort the idea of US complicity as if it's some satan-worshiping diabolical, impossibly complex scheme. It's blowback, it's assisting others in an attack without their knowledge- it doesn't mean that Dick Cheney secretly wears a turban and plans the beheadings of reporters with bin Laden in a secret ranch.

It may or may not have happened on 9/11, but it is most certainly a credible possibility that has happened in the past and will happen again.

i don't agree with oreilly but he is right that a conspiracy of that magnitude would most likely involve thousands of people and that it would be hard to shut that many people up. The people screaming conspiracy theory are a bunch of nuts, its much more likely that bush had fair warning about the attacks and just failed to act upon them.
