My birthday is coming up and I wish I could ignore it. Not because I will be 30. Because it will mean I cannot ignore the fact that time is moving on. Gretchen isn't here. She wont ever be able to share another birthday with me or anyone else.

I want to ignore time. I want to make it stop.

Time does not care to listen to me.

I sat there thinking about all of this as I brushed my teeth and cried.
