(no subject)
Last couple days were good. Yesterday was a long ass day, but it was good nonetheless. Theory was hilarious! Then I practiced, had algebra, upper string methods, cello choir, and orchestra sectionals, all which were good and definitely had their moments. For example, when in sectionals Shea compared music to sex in a long analogy...it was interesting! Then Scott and I met his mom and grandma for dinner before the tuba/euph/trombone concert. His mom's so adorable, it's not even fair, and dinner was quite good. The concert was all right, Scott felt he did well, but as an ensemble it wasn't quite what I expected, and you could tell (if you know him) that Jason wasn't exactly happy with it. Oh well. Last night I was by myself for a while, then when Scott came back from studioness we spent some time. Unfortunately his allergies attacked him and he didn't sleep all night last night. Today was good too, piano quiz went well, even our duet! Algebra was easy, dictation test went okay I think, and wind ensemble wasn't so bad.
Hung out with special people tonight, watched Boondock Saints, so classic. Brian however, poor thing, was falling asleep on and off. It is somewhat late, I've decided we need to start these things sooner! It was still fun, I really enjoy spending time with him and Nerney, and love getting to know them better. Hopefully I can do some more of that next quarter. Kate, Robert and I were all talking about what ed classes we need to take, and plan on taking some together so that should be fun. Brian left his flash drive here, thought I'd leave a convo exerpt in response to me agreeing to bring it to theory tomorrow.
