Written for challenge100 challenge #42, prompt "It was a dark and stormy night."

It was a dark and stormy night. The conspirators gathered together, Cassius in the lead, and they went to meet Brutus to see if he would join them in their plot to assassinate Caesar. Brutus agreed, and as they discussed their plans over whom to include kill, as Brutus ironically took control of a plan to assassinate a dictator, the heavens stormed. They were trying to defy the natural order of things, overthrowing a ruler agreed to by the people, and the heavens could not forgive such a crime. While the plot was cemented, the heavens warned of impending bloodshed.
