They had been so in love. Atemu was so gorgeous and perfect and hot, and he was Yuugi's, all Yuugi's. Yuugi loved him so much that he couldn't even describe it except that Atemu was like Yuugi's oxygen; Yuugi would die without him. Atemu chose Yuugi when he could have anyone he wanted and loved him back just as much. They thought they had eternity, but then, they dueled. Yuugi didn't know that he would win, or he would have lost on purpose to keep Atemu with him. They should have known that it was too good to be true.
