Locks of Love
I got my hair cut on Tuesday and am donating it to Locks of Love...11 inches from the front and 13 inches from the back. The stylist (Melissa at Kevena V's in East Lansing) did an awesome job and I love my new hair style. I like it so much, in fact, that I've found myself narcistically lingering in front of the mirror. When I caught myself staring again this morning I began to scold myself for my superficiality, but then realized that because of my donation there is a child who will be able to experience the boost in confidence, self-esteem and morale that I have felt over the past few days. I feel blessed to be able to provide this gift and it is a wonderful feeling to know that my hair will help do that.
