My dentist cannot figure out why my recently root-canaled tooth is causing pain rather than behaving itself, so I'm going to go see a specialist. Dammit. I was hoping this would be a simple "take antibiotics" type problem.
It's not actually the tooth that's hurting, but the gum up above it, just under my cheekbone. It hurts when I poke it, but also when I wash my face and sometimes from smiling, which sucks.
I hope the endodontist finds something straightforward that doesn't require having another $^&$## root canal. Not that the first one was that bad, but it's long and boring and expensive. I'm not clear on how much of this trouble-shooting I'll be charged for - my last appointment and x-ray was free (covered under the root canal umbrella).
In other news, I have tickets to Wales and have confirmed that we can stay with our dad, so we don't need to book a bed-and-breakfast. I do need to get a new passport, though, as mine expires in less than six months, and that's apparently not ok.
