quick update
Yes, I'm still alive.
The semester's over now, and I'm headlong into finals. Things got so hectic that I really haven't had time to do much or post anything at all.
I'm taking sixeen credits this semester--the full-time maximum. Five of them came due in a single day (Tuesday) this week: two credits' worth of paper-writing, and three credits' worth of Negotiation. Getting those done involved a forty-three hour day: I woke up at six in the morning of Monday, and didn't get to bed until about one in the morning of Wednesday. In between, I had two final classes, a meeting to prepare for my final negotiation exercise, many hours of final revisions to my paper, printing and submitting the paper, reviewing my preparations for the Negotiation exercise, actually conducting the negotiation exercise, and getting home.
In fairness, this was all my own damn fault--if I had done the edits in smaller chunks over a few more days, I wouldn't have needed to go on this semester-ending forced march. But still, I got it done. Let's see if that's good enough.
Coming up: the Thanksgiving holiday. Cooking, eating, and watching televison. Then I wake up from my food coma and start studying for my Professional Responsibility exam--and do serious work on the take-home portion, whch has already been distributed. After that, I get a bit of a break--about a week--but that's mostly going to be spent learning Evidence and Corporations.
