OK, not really cycling-related, but:
I'm packing for Poland. Let me just say right here & now that cycling toestraps are among the most useful things you can have in your bag of tricks.
I'm using them to lash my raincoat on the back of an old school bookbag. I can't afford a "proper" daypack, and I'm trying to stay as mobile as possible as far as handluggage goes. So I'm taking a page from history and carrying my raincoat as a "blanket roll" over my bookbag, using the toe straps as lashing.
Works surprisingly well!
