omnibus ride report
No pictures or pretty descriptions. Just to say that yesterday I did the Fairfax-Lake Accotink-Fairfax run (24 miles) at 12.2 miles an hour, average, including a couple of stops to check my equipment.
Also, I ended up letting up a small cheer for myself when I rode this ford without dismounting or dabbing. Did it twice, actually--once on the outbound, once again on the return trip. Is there a 29er or cyclocross bike in my future?
