To the driver of the silver BMW X3, license plate Virginia JYN-9788: I'm very happy you didn't sideswipe me this evening and scratch your paint. But please remember that those turn signals are only useful if you use them to indicate whereare ABOUT to turn, rather than when you have ALREADY BEGUN THE MANEUVER.
In fairness, you began your movement before you'd even touched the turn signal. Unfortunately, as far as I am aware, BMW does not supply blind-spot radar in its luxury SUVs. But I imagine that you'd not thought of that--after all, you did pay an awful lot for your car, you have a right to believe you got your money's worth! Maybe you should take up the omission with BMW. In the meantime, I suggest actually looking where you're about to go.
