Yet more from Auntie Beeb. After the recent, hard-fought elections in New Zealand,one MP having lost his seat in Parliament, now stands to lose his shirt...and trousers...and underwear.
Apparently, Green Party MP Keith Locke had promised to run naked through the streets of his Epsom constituency if Act Party leader Rodney Hide won his seat. Mr. Locke has, with surprising good grace for a defeated politician, decided to live up to his word, and is planning a naked run through the streets.
Good to know that there are some politicians who actually keep their promises..even when they're not elected.
