Panic Review - August 20 2008.
MEET AND GREET
Ok so, we headed to the place we had to meet, and i began to freak the fuck out, because thats naturally what i do lmao.
so zack lines us all up in the foyer area and goes around and gives us all wrist band so we can get in and stuff, and he says that everyone, all ee + all m&g winners with the plus one get m&g and ee, so the room pretty much spazzed. and he was actually really funny, i cant remember what he said, but i lol'd. So then we walk into the m&g room, and stand around the edges of the room, and zack gives his dont be creepy speech. and hes like "if you want something signed that is on your person, it has to come off! If its a shirt, it has to come off, if its pants it has to come off, whatever you want signed needs to lay flat on the table, and that doesnt mean you laying on the table" and i lold
and then zack came over to talk to the girls next to us, so i asked him to sign my bday card, and he was like "what does 18 mean?" and im like "that im legal?" lol so he wrote 'your legal' and signed it. then the girls near us were talking to him and he was reading their little book thing, and it said carol and hes like "oh, my wifes name is carol acctually!" and walked off lmao. ohoh and he was like, about gifts during his speech, how they can be given food and he goes "because someone in the band, not saying who, ate a cookie with fucking HAIR in it!" and looked real shitty. but yeah, fair enough.
then panic come in the room and my first thought is "wow, ryan reeally isnt that attractive in real life" but he is so whatever lmao. and at the table it went Ryan, Jon, Spencer then Brendon, and when i got up there ryan signed my card and read zacks comment and was like "O.o i thought that said your legs for a second then" and i just giggled lmao. then jon just signed and didnt say anything and spencer was like "hai, how are you" and im like "im really great thanks, how are you?" and hes like "im good thanks" and then brendon. omg brendon. massive smiles straight away "hai!" "he" and he looks at my card, then at me and im like "oh it was my birthday yesterday so i was like, eh they can sign a card" and giggled and he was like "OH! well happy late birthday!" and held his hand up to high five me. and lmao, zack was like "look, i wrote your legal" and points at the card.
then we went back into the line around the room to go around again and get photos with them and stuff. OH YEAH! and i saw this girl i met at all time low there too, and she like has brendons signature tattooed on her wrist and i was like OH WOW! but yeah anyways, um. we went around again to get photos, and zack was like "you must have your group photos, if you came in a group of 5 you must all five been in that photo, but spread yourselves out evenly, we dont want all of you crowded around brendon" and i lol'd.
but i went and had my photo alone anyways XD lol, and like brendon put his arm around me and had his hand like, resting on the bottom of my back and i was like sdjfkhsdgdgjhdfgjhdfvsdvopsd!!!!! lmao. and ryan had his like up near my shoulder i dont remember coz i was like omgomgomgomgomgomg. then after i was like "high fives down the line!" and jon was like "low five!" and so i low fived him and brendon turns to me as im walking away and is like "=DDDDDD WOW she has REALLY fast reflexes, shes on the ball =DDDDDDDDDD" then we just walked around and watched them do their photos and stuff, and then before they left brendon and this dude were play fighting and then did that chest bumpy thing and it was REALLY cute. OH AND! when i was grabbing my camera off Zack, brendon was like "i LOVE you glasses, by the way!" coz i had my red sunnies on my head, like the red raybans or whatever they are lol.
and yeah THAT was my meet and greet.

and i didnt get spencer, because my camera was WAY to slow and spencer was too fast and there the brendon lmao.
COBRA STARSHIP
Wow, they were what i expected from last year, plus so much more! I can't get over how freaking amazing they were. But really, why so much thrusting gabe? Even Ryland was into the thrusting. I don't remember the exact order their songs were in, but they opened with the city is at war, and im pretty sure they played hey mr dj after that. They also played church of hot addiction, hollaback boy, smile for the paparazzi, snakes on a plane with william and sisky, and they closed with guilty pleasure. During paparazzi, gabe was humping everywhere lmao. it was hilarious. He also managed to knock vicky-t's head band into her face and she looked slightly annoyed rofl. But i was infront of Ryland for this, and lol he pulls some ridic faces, srsly. He even thrusted a bit too!
For guilty pleasure, i think i can safely say the entire barrier was doing the dance, and gabe looked really impressed. He also danced along with us towards the end, and was like smiling down and me and my friends XD OMG LOL! When Ryland was singing, he went over and wrapped his arms around him and then started playing with his nipple and ryland was trying so freaking hard to not laugh, and to get gabe off. That was also the only time that suarez crossed the stage, so i managed to get one slighty blurry shot of him walking.
Gabe says that he hates america, and is putting money into an account in australia and then is going to retire down here because he loves it so much. He also wore those stupid ass glasses out on stage, but threw them backwards when we was singing lol. He also jumped into the audience to sing, twice i thing, and fucking shit dude, thats one gross sweaty boy!
THE ACADEMY IS...
Wow. Same goes for cobra, everything they were last year, and so much more. I got to be in front of chiz this year to, yaay! Sisky was sorta there too, except more...right lol. They opened with Neighbours, and played slow down, big mess, the phrase that pays, classifieds, summer hair = forever young, about a girl (squee) and closed with checkmarks. I pm died when they played about a girl, i love that song so much, lol. Rachael and i also made handhearts at beckett during this when he was infront of us, i still dont know if he noticed.
I had to laugh at william's dancing, im sorry, but it is just plain hilarious. Just, the way he like, moves across the stage makes me laugh so much. And lol, chiz whispered something to beckett and beckett goes "one more time for michael!" then chiz was like "thats not what i said!" and becketts like "no, he just told me he has a crush on stephanie rice" Also, whenever sisky was in front of my general area, i could srsly hear him singing, and he was never even infront of a microphone, that was really awesome. Jack was also out a few times filiming for tai tv, and im really hoping he never got me looking like a douchebag.
Like Gabe, William also jumped into the crowd to sing for a bit, and OMG nearly dropping his mic stand on a security dudes head, that made me laugh! Gabe came out to sing classifieds, and his dancing made me laugh then too. I was kinda bummed they didnt play everything we had or down and out, but playing about a girl definately made up for that. Oh and beckett made a lame joke about Gabe fixing Mikes Mic stand =/
PANIC AT THE DISCO
Ok, so i obvs have to talk about Zack during the change over because, it was amusing lol. He had an eski, and Rachael and i were watching him, and she was like "omg, theres a champagne!" And he had a wine glass sitting on top of the speaker thing he was at, and we were trying to figure out who was drinking wine. But anyways. He pulls out a carona, and pours that into a cup and sticks it near brendons mic, and i yelled out to him "is there lemon or lime in that carona?" but he ignored me lmao. He then pulls out two beer bottles, and opens them and sticks them over on Jons side for him. Then gets out the wine and pours that and sticks it on the ledge behind the sign on the drum thing. So we tried to figure out who it was for, Ryan or Spencer. Turns out it was Ryan's. Then he went back over to the eski and pulls out a gaterade and was like "its for me!" to me and rachael, because he obviously noticed us watching him the entire time like creepers lol. We also asked him if shane was there, and he said no hes at home. So i was disappointed, and was like aww "but i love him D:" and zack was like "why? you dont even know him!" and i was like "but i love you and i dont know you either!" and i just an o.O face back at me lol.
Then zack was making sure all the mics were tall enough, and he would walk up to each of them, and stop forward enough to make the mic touch his shoulder. And so they were all obv the right height because they came up to under his chin. Rachael though this was adorable, that he knew how tall they all were up against him. Oh and, we couldnt find any marijuana leaves on any of the mic stands, and i decided that was probably because cutsoms would have called them on it rofl.
And finally panic come on stage. I kind of squeed at what brendon was wearing but he look so freaking adorable. Im so glad they wear what they do because its far more attractive than those circus outfits, but nowhere near as awesome as those black pants he used to wear O.O. Jon had no shoes on, and Ryan just put a jacket over what he wore for the meet and greet. And whatever, i fangirled alot. They started with We're So Starving and went into NITA after that. They also played She's A Handsome Woman, Folkin' Around, Behind the Sea, Northern Downpour, The Only Difference..., Lying... , But Its Better If You Do, Camisado, I Constantly Thank God For Esteban, That Green Gentleman, There's A Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered..., I Write Sins, Time To Dance (Acoustic), Pas de Cheval and closed with Mad As Rabbits.
During behind the sea, there was the bubble machines, and lmao, Brendon was like playing his guitar and looking up at the bubbles as if he had never seen them before in his life, and it was the cutest fucking thing ever. Ryan also sang really well, and i sort of fell in love with him a little lol. And brendon singing folking around, eee way to make me smile. That was also when jon was over in front of me, and i made a heart out of my hands up at him, and he like smiled down at me, and like did this little shrug thing and face like as if he was saying 'i cant do it back sorry' kinda thing. And my heart melted a little, because hey, it was jon walker, so shut up. And omg. so much fucking eye contact with ryan *flails* he is so fucking adorable when hes up there on stage focusing and playing and being amazing.
I nearly cried during northern downpour, i dont even know why, it was just so fucking amazing, and brendons voice and <3 And lol at this being all out of order. OMG LOL. Ryan finished his glass of wine, and he lifted it up and shook it to show zack it was empty, and lmao, he made them 'im thirsty' face. lol thats the only way i can describe what he did rofl. Jon slapped brendon on the ass. And when spencer smith smiles, my heart stops because its the most beautiful smile in the history of forever, even with that man scruff.
Jon said something during the show about how he loves that in aus no matter where you are youre near a beach, and ryan was like "except for that huge ass desert in the middle" and then said he wanted to know the ratio of how much is desert or something. Then brendon comes in with something about how he watched a movie once about the kimberly and they said it there but he cant remember, then he was like "im gunna shut up now" lolol. Yeah this was before behind the sea.
Oh! Whichever song it is that ryan plays tambourine for the first time, after that he threw it offstage to zack and zack was like NICE THROW :D. And it was cute. Someone threw a g-string with rosary beads on them on stage too, and zack was like o.O gross. Uh. We did clicking and jazz hands. Brendon did the aussie aussie aussie thing, and the first time he did the oi oi oi himself and the audience didnt do anything, the second time he did it we all screamed oi oi oi. This is just before time to dance, which he played alone, and did the keyboard thing himself which was really funny. He also was impressed that he didnt have to teach us to shout wedding. They kept saying how were beautiful and stuff, and brendon said something about saying it alot, and ryan went off on this little speech how he complitmented us and said something bad about himself. the only one i remember was him saying "you're smart, im dumb" then brendon goes "you're big, im small" and that just reminded me of the karrang podcast XD.
Someone threw a bead necklace at brendon, and he caught it and ryan complitmented him on the catch and brendon was like "i always thought of myself as a mathalete not an athelete, i guess i was wrong"
Um i cant remember anything else. Im sure theres alot more that i can talk about, i just cant remember.

After the show, i spazzed at fish about it and just was just like :D and hugging me. But yeah we went around the back and Vicky T and Gabe came out to sign stuff, i didnt really bother pushing to the from of the massive crowd to get anything signed. The a bit later panic came out, and fish was getting her ticket signed and i told her if she got everyone to sign it if buy her ticket off her rofl. She missed brendons signature though. I also went up to the fence as the were all leave and was going to get jon to say happy birthday to me and film it, but he walked away to quick so i was just like "I LOVE YOU JON!" and he was like "i love YOU too!"
and that was my night. it was perfect, and amazing, and i cant wait to get to melbourne to do it all again with infatuatedxmind on the 23rd (tomorrow omg)
