It's a shock at first, but then you realize...
It is probably no news anymore if my friends page is anything to go by, but I want to mention anyway that Heath Ledger is dead. Even though I can't say I knew all his movies, I remember the time when I first saw Brokeback Mountain and what a deep impression it left on me. Everyone has a set of influential things in their life and this film has been among those of mine ever since. Back then (and it's not long ago at all) I would never have guessed that in a couple of years such a recent movie would become a memorial of a talented actor who was no longer alive.
And he was only twenty-eight. It remains to be seen if they find out how he died and why. I really wonder. This is like hide all over again.
