Roll with the Punches

Today was my glorious day with my first angry customer.

She came complete with (at first) a dull attitude. It soon transformed into anger. Then it turned into raging bitch and my manager laughed. Apparently, she's going to report him.

Also, smiling and doing everything the customer asks of me = my having a bad attitude. Perhaps when she found out that my job is not wrapping presents for her she needed another excuse on why I am a horrible worker.

Maybe if she had asked me to wrap her presents for her, I would have.

Maybe if she wouldn't have had a cow when I grabbed her receipt, leaving the boxes for her mugs alone for a second, I'd have even been nice enough to box her items for her (also, especially on a busy Saturday, not my job). It should give people something to think about next time they take their aggressions out on a retail employee.

Get a fucking clue. Nothing you say is going to get someone fired. Nothing you say is going to make a difference. Especially if you have no valid evidence. I had a coworker behind me this entire time and she was witness that I was nothing but a pleasant worker dealing with a stick in the ass of a woman.

And unless this employee you deal with is really, really wrong in his/her ways... shut up. You're making an ass out of yourself in public.

Ohhh... retail. Gotta love it.

P.S. Lady- Walt Disney is ashamed of you!!!
