Fuck you maintenance guys.
After an hour of standing on a stool in our shower room trying to scrub the mold (left by the previous tenant) off of the wall, ceiling, and floor using only vinegar and paper towels... not only did our room stink like vinegar, but the whole floor did, ha. I was exhausted so I took a shower in hopes that the vinegar stench would vaporize and be gone. I then had to do an hour of homework. I went to sleep at 3:00 AM. Sean slept in here last night because his room was scheduled to get new windows this morning and our's wasn't...
... and yet at 9:00 AM the BIG FAT ANNOYING DISGUSTING maintenance men go around the circle banging on everyone's doors, including our's. We were expected to get out of our rooms as fast as possible so they could start on our windows EVEN THOUGH WE WERE SCHEDULED TO GET THEM TOMORROW. So I get up all pissed off, trying to get ready for class an hour earlier than I would have liked. Sean went downstairs to sleep on the couches and Amanda soon followed. Just as I was about to go downstairs a security guy came in our room to inform Andrea and me that they were indeed doing our windows tomorrow so we could go back to sleep. GODDAMNIT! So I call Sean and Amanda and told them to come back upstairs... And then here comes another maintenance guy telling us he still has to come in and take down the blinds from our windows. That's great. Thanks. Jackass.
So I'm just a little pissed right now.
As I'm sure you can imagine.
What a shitty way to start the day... I really don't want to go to class... but at least I will escape the horrible noise of the powertools and grunting of smelly men.
And I have to go through all this again tomorrow morning?
