At this point, things are still in the works... but it looks like I got accepted into med school.
The university has already approved my application early and I will be leaving next week. I'm hoping to study in Taiwan and do my practicum in Australia. Hopefully things will go smoothly with all the registration and things, and I will be blissfully submerged in the crowded cityscape of Taipei, Taiwan in a week's time.
The uni there is the National Defense University, so upon finishing I would retain a rank of lieutenant(?). I'm looking into exempting my tuition, though mainly I will be working closer to my family since my immigration to Canada. Maybe I'll get a new digicam... XD watch for new photos maybe. ^^
I went to the optometrist to get a prescription today. It looks like I have better than 20/20 vision in both eyes, but my left requires a blur adjustment (cylinder and axis). I decided to get a pair of glasses, just to read a few more lines on the Snellen chart. My first pair of glasses! It's a sleek Juicy Couture metallic green-- XD made me feel smart hurhur!
