one month

one month since I have been held
one month since I last cuddled
one month since my last kiss
one month since I heard the words I love you from someone who holds my heart.

and yet...
one month on the path to re-discovery
one month of reconnecting with old friends and making new ones
one month of space which may eventually lead to growth and friendship

a world of possibilities
a world of newness
a world of growth

sometimes I wish it was a month ago.... sometimes I am glad it isn't
