This is a HUSKY fur lined coat! No it's not from shaved huskies. (Short story) My husband & I decided to take a winter vacation to Quebec Canada in 2018. We ventured out into the town in search of some unique activities to do with our twins and 2 huskies. We came across a privately owned farm which offered sled training and sled tours with their own 25+ huskies. We were all in. They let us attach our 2 huskies to the back of the husky train and off we went for the best ride of our lives. After our hour tour we were offered coffee and hot cocoa by a cozy fireplace in the main cabin of their farm in which we graciously accepted. While we enjoyed our warm drinks, 2 young ladies came down to the main floor with these huge bundles of dog fur. I made a remark like "that would make a great coat". The girls giggled and said that's what we're doing. I was instantly intrigued and they offered to show us how they make coats from the fur. 3 times a year they spend a week brushing and de-shedding their huskies. They save all the fur that they brush out. They wash it 2x dry it and spool it into a yarn like bundle for use in creating winter garments. Needless to say.. the picture here is what these two insanely brilliant ladies hand created for me from their recycled husky fur. How awesome is that?! ❤
