Coco slips a collar easily, so early on, we had a harness on her for going out on walks. Initially, she was only 37 lbs. After having a regular diet and exercise, she quickly grew to her current weight of 48 lbs within a year. (She was pretty skinny-looking when we adopted her from the humane society) . The harness seemed a bit flimsy for her now robust form. When we were in Murphys, CA last fall, we found the Murphy's Dog Shop downtown. The lady in there was a good saleswoman. She fitted Coco with a turquoise colored Timberland harness that did look good and looked sturdy. They weren't cheap, but I do think it is a good product.A common question on the Husky Lovers FB page is for harness recomendations. I am posting this snippet here for easy retrieval and copying.

I like the Timberwolf Sequoia (step-in) version. Found it at the Murphys Dog Store in Murphys, CA last fall. Our husky finds it very comfortable. Coco's 47 lbs, and the 1": 26-34" harness fits well.
