It's been a while....
Wow I haven't written in here in a while! Whew.
I was hunting around on Facebook (avoiding homework, of course), and somehow made my way to LJ, and thought "hmm... it's been a while."
So what's new LJ? I haven't forgotten about ya, just been busy!
So how's everyone been?!
Me? Good. Really good.
Not much has changed, yet somehow things feel so much different.
I'm happy, and life is great as of lately. :)
This semester is flying by, and that scares me a little, as usual. It scares me even more to realize how much further I have to go before being done at OU. There's times I get rather tired of it... but for the most part, I like it, and I know its where I belong right now. But the next year or two is gonna be crazy busy. And as of right now I have no idea what the summer holds for me yet. But I'm pretty happy with where I am. As for the rest of it, we'll just have to wait and see.
I'm currently applying for Major Standing in the business department. My music degree is about finished, and I hope to do a Senior Recital somewhere around this time next year. Playing music is easy lately. I can't WAIT for the contrabassoon to get here, and I hope to incorporate it into my recital.
Today it's gorgeous outside. It's one of the warmest days so far, and the sun is shinning. I drove home from school with the windows down and the music blarring. It felt good. Spring is finally on its way! For a few minutes I forgot about school and homework, and the weekend felt like forever....
It got me thinking a lot about summer. Last summer and this summer. I can't wait. Days like today make me want to drop everything, put on some flip flips, and just go hang out, and forget the world for a little while....
But for now I suppose it's back to work....
