although I'm not sure how. Surely someone with nerd skillz wouldn't have to re-install their OS 3-4 times a year. Crap. It sucks to be MD lately. I hope things go well at the hematologist.
On the history/literature I may have exaggerated about the accessibility of the Iliad ... It might take me 15 minutes or 15 days to actually find the thing but that goes for lots of stuff in my house.
Reinstalling your OS multiple times get s you tons of nerd points! If you weren't a nerd, you'd take it to a "pro" (who wouldn't necessarily know as much).
MD doesn't seem too worried and, really, there's no point in worrying until we know more. The rise makes me feel optimistic.
I'd be optimistic about the white count too. They tend to fluctuate and you're right; the fact that her result was higher on re-testing is good. Seeing it go down might have been a bit alarming. There's so much viral junk floating around this year it's hard to keep up.
If Ubuntu had a shockwave plug-in and an .rar extension I don't think I'd bother much with XP. I think I need to stop putting graphics on my boot screen. I've heard there's a bug. Then again it *would* be nice to finally be able to use my CS3...
The work box is on all the time and when I do boot, I have a tendency to start it going and then wander off for tea and such. In other words, I don't think you'll miss the image much.
I use GRUB to boot because it's a snap to repair. MBR gets unmanageable pretty quickly when you hang up your boot as often as I do. XD
I have to select a drive and wait for boot to access each with pw (although XP is not pw protected-just 'enter'). Fortunately it doesn't take as long as it used to. I have XP Pro so I have to select a user even though there's only me.
I know just enough to be dangerous. I have 3 HD's that can't see each other or only see parts of each other.
I use XP Pro on Asmodeus and Aniki and both are set to boot without asking me to select a user. I wouldn't do that if they were shared but they aren't.
Really? I'm kind of excited about using mine; I got it a little over a year ago but I keep crashing my HD. We have satellite and are limited to 425 MB per day for the 3 of us or the ISP chokes our bandwidth down to about 3-8/kbs. They expanded our unlimited dl from 3 to 5 hours after midnight which is nice but it seems like every time I boot Windows I have hours of updating to do.
The last time I crashed last spring I had the drive back up for about 3 days and the last thing I did was recover my music files and BAM; that was it. I got so frustrated I've been using The Linux instead. I wish CS3 wasn't so picky about its platform.
Luck...and I'll loan you my daughter, the massage therapist, to get the tension knots out of the back of your neck. We've got pretty good computer classes at the local city college and I took a class on CS3 Illustrator which helped a lot. If you get the Adobe Classroom in a Book tutorials for CS3, they have some typos in BAD places, but I think by now Adobe has errata for them. They didn't when I was in the class and our teacher was going slightly nuts trying to figure out why things weren't working for him, let alone for us.

See? Just enough to be dangerous. Thank you, I'll fix that tonight. I get so focused on other things the obvious things elude me. XD
