(no subject)
My high school career is almost over. I went to the school today to have my exit interview with Mrs. Cox, but she wasn't ready for me (since I went at the wrong time...thanks Katherine). Consequently, I'm going after I'm done with work today, which is where I am right now. I've decided that I'm not going to look for another job this summer. I reclaimed my "nanny" job and will keep working at the antique mall and hy-vee though. I think I have a sweet job waiting for me here when I come home for Christmas break at Hy-Vee, where I will HOPEFULLY be a gift basket lady who wraps up those lovely fruit and nut baskets that everyone hates to get at Christmas. I'm still checking into that delightful occupation. It would be so much easier to do that and the antique mall.
I'm not sure what I think of being out of school. It's strange because a lot of my friends are still in school, at least until Monday. I don't pity them at all though. We did our time AND only had school cancelled two stupid days the whole year. Disgusting.
I bought a pretty sweet new book called "Generation T" and Katherine and I plan to do a bunch of the projects in it, even though some are a bit risque. It's a DIY book and has 108 things. I hope I can find 108 t shirts.
I ate at El Rancho WAY too much this week. Like, 3 times. Katherine ate there more. Haha.
I opened a checking account today. It's my third. I got 10 bucks for opening it. It's the one I'll probably use in college since neither of my banks are in Minnesota.
If you have facebook, you should totally go look at my sweet mehndi-ized hand, compliments of Nausheen and Naushad. It's hot. And starting to fade. At least it is documented.
