Ottilia and Albert have been having a small war going on and last Saturday they got some real marks on each other. Not anything that needed a vet or anything like that but enough that it brought some peace to our living room. Albert wounded an eyelid and Ottilia got a bunch of hair ripped out of her back so there's a hairless stripe that looks lot nastier than it is (especially after V cleaned it). The whole thing looked scary but one thing that I've already learned at the stable is that common sense is a valuable thing especially when accidents and the like happen so beside taking them apart there wasn't much to do as they do need to sort their thing at one point or another and this certainly seems to have cleansed the air between them at least a little.
Of course I don't mean that they should be killing each other but not letting them together isn't really an option either if I want to see if they can live together. They're all good and acting normal (normal normal, not I'm-hiding-the-hurt-normal) and happy, only the fighting has ceased at least for now. I don't want to celebrate too quickly that they're getting along now as that would be quite unexpected happening just like that but it seems like we're going for the right direction.
