stuff on my mind
- number 1, my art book from dA that I ordered. It said it would ship in march, and march is almost over, and I'm not confident with paypal so I'm just hoping the order went through ;_______;
- comments. there are 20 in my inbox, and I'm going to respind soon! DX
- kink meme fills. My god. If they were babies they'd have died of neglect and malnutrition. I just can't write.
- Anime Fucking Boston! It's this damn weekend, which I just have to say is THE WORST decision ever made, because no one's going to go--including me, for the first year since I started going. Ugh.
- Art project. It's really winding down now (last concentration due Thursday) and looking back I think the stress has been worth it. I feel like most of it could go into my portfolio, which is what I want at the end of a project this size.
- Sean and Kate. Dear jesus, he just needs to stop being a douchebag. Or better yet, stop hanging out with He Who Must Not Be Named, because god knows the rest would come in time following that miracle. And I mean, I'm his friend. I'm not supposed to hear about the things he's saying to her in private and go "what an asshole." I don't want to.
- AIB! I got accepted to the residency program for July! 8D I'll be living there for a whole month and taking classes and it'll be so cool.
- France. France in August, but probably not Italy, unfortunately, because it's a zoo in summer when everyone's on vacation. But seeing Colin and Rose again will be the highlight <3
- Connecticut this weekend. I'm excited to see my Grandpa, and we'll be planting Xmas tree seedlings on my uncle's farm. At least it'll be 70 and sunny. And maybe that cute Russian from down the street will come help again. >3
In shorter term news, I'm fighting a crazy headache for the second day, and I honestly think it's these new test contacts. The subscription is crazy, and doesn't improve my close-up vision at all, which makes me wonder if my doctor knows what the hell he's doing.
I have astigmatisms in both eyes and am intensely far-sighted, and so far all the testers he's given me have either made me outright blind or have made anything within a foot of me totally blurry. I mean, really? My old perscriptions work better than these. And they're mad dry, which makes them even blurrier, which means gym class, with wiffle balls flying at my head at crazy speeds, is getting a little bit perilous. I just wanna be able to see, dammit. DX
