Runnin' on Empty.

Everyone I know, everywhere I go
People need some reason to believe.
I don't know about anyone, but me.
If it takes all night, that'll be all right,
If I can get you to smile before I leave.

Wow. So...I'm at work. And bored. And people are still here, even though it's after 7 - our closing time. Doctor Roberts still hasn't gotten a chance to take a peek at Ragnar (stray tomcat I found and brought into the clinic), and the wind is blowing like mad.
I don't have anything interesting to say...I guess I just need something to pass the time.

I'm still limping: have been for about a day or so. I must have injured (only minorly, but still) one of the tendons in the arch of my foot. The outer edge of my left foot tenses painfully and the toes curl if I put any weight on it.
I want a cane, so I can wave it at people and bitch about having to be at work like Dr. House. He's such a badass.

At any rate, I'm terribly bored...and boring. I've had Jackson Browne in my head all damn day, and (it's drivin' me mad) it's making me crazy (crazy).
Everything turns into a song, lately. Everything. Even livejournal entries with no point.

Hallowe'en pictures as soon as I get off my lazy ass, get them developed (yeah, the digital camera ran out of batteries), and get a scanner. And a cord for my stupid, dead laptop.

...D&D on Monday? I'll call; my phone's currently dead.
Which reminds me...quote of last Monday's D&D session: "Dude, all ravens love eyeballs."
Win! for Dan.
