Kaoru felt an eerie chill that morning. It was cold and foreboding, but that didn't bother Kaoru at all. Having to put up with the fact that, according to the Mediwizards, she could die at any given moment, she learned to cope with paranoia. So, like any strong Gryffindor, she shrugged it off and put the scary thoughts aside. She packed a pain killer just in case.
After that odd incident, the rest of the day dragged on. In fact, it was perfectly normal; she went to class, stopped by the library a couple of times, and scolded a few students. After lunch, she looked around and found Daine on the way to Potions class. "Hey," she greeted.
